new work studio, new dreams in 2012

I'd like to think with the new makeover of the work studio (which was previously a dumping area) new inspirations & dreams should come about anytime.

It was decided to have the calm colour tone to embrace the serenity in the midst of my usual multi-tasking, multi-juggling days of my life. Over the last few months, I have been tempted to pull the plug on Soe Mooi. It is just insane to carry on with so many things happening at the same time. (Mostly with work @ Mr Limin) He is my priority hence that makes his work my priority too. Miss Limin is also competing for attention the last few months. Her developments are fast & furious into toddlerhood...or rather...the terrible trouble two!

But I know there is a season for everything. I am grateful at what is already bestowed in my life. I

hope for more without having to sacrifice smelling the roses sometimes.

With the new year I pray for more good tidings to come in my family, my work, my dreams...I wish for 2012 to be a fruitful & inspiring year of my life. I wish to live, to love & to pray more in the new year. Salut to 2012.

The new woman! (almost...)

She has taken up most of my time & almost all of my energy! But I need to continue to reinvent (my mind & body), I have to take time to refresh my priorities as the days goes by. When I stop to do those things, I end up like a crazy busy bee bustling the whole day not knowing what exactly am I busy with. Every thing that comes on my way is minded on the spot just for the sake of getting it done. The purpose and the end result is always compromised.

Lets face it. Its not easy being the new woman of today. We need to be our husband's helper in his life. While juggling the role of a mother, a daughter in law, a colleague, a homemaker...and the many trivial roles that demand our attention from day to day. At the same time, being a woman, she loves her bags & shoes. Those need her time & attention too! They may sound small but they make up part of who she is!

Yes, I am a woman. Hear me roar! Pardon me but I will take good care of myself so that I can give it back to the family. As the saying goes, 'You cannot give, what you don't have...' I will be spending a little bit more time towards my work. It has been sitting right at the end of my mental shelf pending for my attention. So help me God as I re-engage my work.

Oh..& hello blogging....it is part of the new woman commitment to keep blogging so that as each day passes, special moments will always be in this 'diary' of events to remind me where I came from. Hope that day comes soon.
